At Springfield Jewellers, master jeweller Pranay creates every ring from scratch, by hand, in our workshop at Orion Springfield Central. It's about 15 minutes from Forest Lake straight down the Centenary Highway. Over 40 years of experience and seven generations of craft go into everything we make.

Most jewellery stores work from catalogues. You point at something, they order it from overseas, it turns up weeks later in a box. You never meet the person who made it.
We do it differently. Pranay is here, in the workshop, every day. He'll sit down with you, work out exactly what you're after, and make the ring himself. Not supervise it. Not send it offshore. Make it. His family has been doing this for seven generations, so it's not really a job, it's who they are.

We create a 3D model of your ring so you can see it from every angle before we make a thing. Want changes? Easy. This is where we get it exactly right.
Watch It Come Together
Your ring is crafted right here in our workshop at Orion. Forest Lake to Orion is a quick run down the Centenary Highway, so most couples pop in at least once to see the progress.
Collect Your Ring
Pick up your finished ring, beautifully presented with all certifications. Then it's over to you for the proposal. Need somewhere safe to hide it until the big moment? We've got you covered.

Questions We Get Asked
About 15 minutes by car, straight down the Centenary Highway. We're at Orion Springfield Central, Shop 247, with free parking right across the centre. It's an easy run, and well worth it to have your ring made by hand rather than ordered from a catalogue.
Couples tell us it's the easiest part of the whole process. You're getting a ring designed and handcrafted for you by a master jeweller with over 40 years at the bench, not something pulled from a tray. Fifteen minutes for a ring she'll wear for the rest of her life is a fair trade.
That's something we plan for. Many couples start with a smaller stone and upgrade on an anniversary. Pranay designs rings so the setting can accommodate a larger stone later. When you're ready, we remove the original diamond, set the upgrade, and you keep or repurpose the first stone.
First, you book a free consultation with Pranay. You'll chat about what you're looking for, your budget, and any ideas you have. Pranay then creates a 3D rendering so you can see exactly what it'll look like. Once you approve it, we start handcrafting. The whole process usually takes 4 to 6 weeks.
Custom engagement rings at Springfield Jewellers start from around $3,000. The final price depends on the diamond size and quality, the metal you choose, and how complex the design is. Pranay will work with whatever budget you have, there's no minimum.
Yes. We do inside band engraving as part of most custom rings. Names, dates, short messages, the coordinates of where you met, whatever's meaningful to you. Pranay uses laser engraving for precision, and it's included in the price.
We accept Afterpay and Zip Pay if you want to spread the cost. We also offer traditional lay-by, you pay it off over time and collect the ring when it's paid. Most people pay a deposit upfront and the balance when the ring is ready.
